Never Eat Alone

Keith Ferrazzi's book "Never Eat Alone" is a great business networking book. We will be applying many of his principals to the Central Region in our CSG Plan, more to come on this. Make sure to check this book out, it is truly a must read.

PCT Google Group

Karena Shell, President of the Upsilon Chapter at Georgia State University, recently created a Google group for the Central Region. I encourage every Chapter to join this group as we will be storing, uploading documents and planning Phi Chi Theta activities on this group. Send your Google email address to me and we will make sure to add you to the list.

Enhancing Communication

As I listened to each chapter this weekend at the National Conference in Memphis, TN the resounding message from each Active and Alumni was a need for increased communication among chapters, Actives and Alumni.  In response to your requests we have moved quickly to create a Central Region website/blog. We now have a newly created ‘Phi Chi Theta Central Region’ group on the social Networking site Facebook and we also created a ‘Google group’ in which to share files and ideas.

I am very encouraged by what the group has accomplished so far and I am excited about the endless possibilities for this year!

2008 National Meeting

I would like to thank The Phi Chi Theta Executive Council and all of the Actives and Alumni that made this years National Meeting such a huge success.  There were many highlights from the National Meeting some of my personal highlights were participating in the collaboration between Actives from all over the country, listening to speaker/entrepreneur Austin Baker from E-Serv as well as the banquet address from Autozone Chairmen, President & CEO and newly honorary Phi Chi Thetaian Bill Rhodes.
